March: Girls’ Body Image
In March, we focus on girls’ body image and the powerful role sport plays in shaping how girls feel in their bodies. Sport should be a place where girls build confidence, capability, and pride, not self-consciousness and comparison. This month helps coaches and leaders understand the pressures girls navigate and how everyday sport environments (language, uniforms, culture, and expectations) can either support body confidence or be a reason why she quits.
